  • Air Cleaning Blowers, LLC responded to the COVID-19 pandemic by developing a passive protection system called the Protective Canopy. Unlike traditional PPE, this innovative solution doesn’t require users to wear masks or shields.
  • The Protective Canopy is designed to safeguard individuals who work closely with the public or their colleagues for extended periods. It eliminates the discomforts associated with masks, such as thirst and fogging glasses, reducing the temptation to forgo wearing them. Developed after rigorous testing, including evaluation by NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health), the Protective Canopy combines designs from NIOSH’s coal miner protection units with Air Cleaning Blowers‘ patented technology.
  • This revolutionary system keeps airborne germs from reaching individuals’ faces, offering protection to workers, family members, and others in close proximity to potentially contagious individuals. Using an Air Cleaning BlowerTM (ACB), the Protective Canopy filters and blows clean air through a high-efficiency particulate-absorbing post filter, creating a cone of protective air that blocks or carries away exhaled germs. This innovative solution helps safeguard customers, coworkers, and family members by trapping and removing exhaled germs from the surrounding air.

Protective Canopies are designed for quick and easy installation, requiring minimal floor space and simple maintenance by unskilled staff. They typically operate on 115-125 volts but can be customized for other electrical configurations as needed. Installation indoors is effortless, with options to hang from the ceiling using provided cables and hooks. Alternatively, they can be securely mounted on stationary or movable stands, facilitating outdoor use without the need for drilling, cutting, or welding.
